I’ve been a big Liane Moriarty fan since I read What Alice Forgot. Her characters are so realistic and honest that I couldn’t put it down! This book did not disappoint.

I’ll take a box of complimentary products any day, especially if a company wants me to review it and give my opinions. If you know me, then you know I love telling everyone about my experiences with a product! I was delighted to receive the new Moda Vox Box in the mail from Influenster. It was chock full of fun stuff that I will enjoy using. I couldn’t wait to dig in! I made a quick video of the unboxing and you can view it here: Moda Vox Box.
My daughter and I were lucky enough to attend a Craft Night at one of our favorite local consignment shops, KidzClozet. We haven’t shopped there in awhile so we were so excited to drop by and check it out again. It didn’t disappoint! They have really expanded and have a ton more merchandise than I remembered. They sell kids, junior and maternity clothes at great prices and everything is in great condition. They have books and even a room with toys and other family-related things in the back of the store. They have a kid’s play area and my daughter couldn’t get enough. That was my favorite too since I could shop in peace for a bit!
I was so honored to be chosen to host a Benefit Cosmetics and Birchbox Beauty Bash to celebrate Wing Women, our real partners in crime! I chose 5 women who know me well and who also share my love of cosmetics. I am friends with a variety of women so it was awesome that my party was a combination of all ages and generations.Continue reading
Man, I love fruit! I can’t get enough of it and my daughter is the same way. I love making smoothies too. However, by the time you buy all the supplies, it costs you a small fortune! Well, I am not one to break the bank on a drink. I’m going to show you how to buy fruit for less and make this beauty for a fraction of the cost! Plus, I’m going to show you how to drink your frugal smoothie in style with Eco at Heart Stainless Steel Drinking Straws.
I am crazy when it comes to touching my eye. In college, I almost blinded myself with a wire hanger (It’s a long story). So ever since, I can’t wear contacts; sometimes I have a problem with eyeliner; you get the idea. I was also born with every short eyelashes. My favorite mascaras are the ones that actually make my eyelashes visible! When I was a kid, I remember my mom using an eyelash curler. I tried it once and almost pulled what little lashes that I had out! Ever since, I have stayed away from them since I thought it was a product for people that had more coordination than myself. I was recently given the Crave Naturals Whiplash Eyelash curler and I won’t lie, I kind of cringed at first thought. Although, I am in love with their packaging!
I opened the box and I greeted a pink curler and 5 replacement pads. It was very girly and very cute! I also liked how the handle has a little hook so they stay closed and take up less space.
I decided to suck it up and try it. After all, the eyelash curler incident happened over 15 years ago. I took my time, followed the directions and my eyelashes look amazing! Don’t get my wrong, I am still a little scared every time I try it, but I have been using it everyday and I just try to be very careful. Here is a photo of my lashes after using Crave Naturals Whiplash Eyelash Curler and my drugstore mascara.
I am very happy with the results. They have a sturdy handle and they come with a guarantee. They are under $20 too! If you want to try it yourself, you can find Crave Naturals Whiplash Mascara here.
Have you ever used an eyelash curler?
