There is nothing like a hot bowl of chili on a cold night.  I especially like it when it’s been simmering in the crock pot all day since it’s doing all the work itself!  Olde Westport Spice and Trading Co. sent a package of their cipla finpecia buy online Championship Chili Spice Blend.  I am not lying when I say that this is the easiest and tastiest chili I’ve ever ‘made!’

Did you enjoy the different uses for baking soda?  Well, as a second installment, I decided to list some uses for white vinegar, baking soda’s older brother.  I say this because they go together a lot and their relationship is usually explosive.    As you can see, we always buy it in bulk!  White vinegar, while sometimes smelly, really gets the job done.  Here’s ten ways how!

When I was pregnant with my daughter, my husband and I ate take-out probably 4 times a week.  I was tired and nauseated all the time.  I really couldn’t  have cared less about what I made for dinner.  This was one of my biggest mistakes and a complete money-waster.  The first thing I did when we started saving more money was create a meal planning chart.  It saved me time since I wasn’t pressed to figure out a meal that day and still wonder if I actually had time to make it.  It saved money since I used the stuff I already bought and it saved our waistlines since I was trying out new recipes that focused on healthy foods.

Ice cream is one of my favorite desserts but if you remember my resolutions post, I am trying to get to a healthy weight.  I’ve been doing pretty well with my cravings but sometimes I get an incurable sweet tooth.  I refuse to pay more than $2 per carton for ice cream and I am not a fan of all the ‘healthier’ varieties either.  Well, I found the solution to my dilemma.  Frozen bananas with Brookside Dark Chocolate Crunchy Clusters!

Guess what, everyone?!?  I’m jumping on the kale chip bandwagon.  Probably a couple months too late but better late than never.  Our family is trying to eat healthier foods  and as you know, at first you are all excited about it and really motivated but after awhile, you grow tired of it.  You start to get grouchy and want to eat everything in sight.

My family loves to eat potato chips and dip.  I love it when people tell you, “Oh.  Just eat a carrot instead.”  Come on now.  Eating a carrot will NEVER be chips and dip, people!  I am better when I have a substitute that actually reminds me of what I want to eat but also cuts down the calorie count.  Introducing…Kale Chips and Spinach Dip!
