Whet Your Appetite for Adventure at the Philadelphia Inquirer’s Travel & Culinary Expo!

Pack your bags and meet me at The Valley Forge Casino Resort!  They are hosting The Philadelphia Inquirer’s Travel and Culinary Expo on February 21st and 22nd.  I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am about this event.  Not to mention that I have been given special promo codes to save my readers money on ticket prices!

This expo combines two things that I love in life; travel and food. There are even seminars on how to save money while traveling!   Did I mention that I’m excited?!?!  They have something for everyone.

First of all, there will be tons of samples and tastings in the Culinary area.  There will be culinary delights from regional restaurants and craft beer from all over the United States.   The Craft Beer Pavilion will give attendees the opportunity to sample beers from over 25 different breweries, offering nearly 40 different beers to try! The Culinary Stage is hosting speakers ranging from Tony Luke, CEO of Tony Luke’s Cheesesteaks and host of SpikeTV’s Frankenfood to Chef Barbie Marshall, a finalist on Season 10 of Hell’s Kitchen, and is currently chef of SOOP Catering!

Secondly, there will be opportunities to get deals and travel packages only offered at this show.  There will also be travel contests and giveaways, including The Zulu Nyala, offering a 6 Day/6 Night Wildlife Reserve Giveaway for Two! You will be able to find a trip to fit any lifestyle and any budget, whether it be a cruise, weekend getaway or an overseas excursion, at spectacular prices!

The Main Stage is what grabbed my attention.  Arthur Frommer, will be speaking about when to splurge and when to scrimp when it comes to vacations.  I can’t wait to get his view on all things travel.  Reid Bramblett is giving his take on non-traditional lodging while traveling and how it saves money.  Max Grinnell is famous for walking around while traveling and will be speaking regarding his favorite walks, restaurants and best people-watching spots.  Most sessions will have books signings upon conclusion.

This is only a smattering of the what’s to be offered at the Philadelphia Inquirer’s Travel and Culinary Expo.  There will much to see and do at the expo and kids 12 & under get in free (with the exception of the Craft Beer Pavilion).  You are in luck too, since I have been given promo codes for my readers to save even more!
